On 9th December 2024, 15 guests gathered in the atmospheric cellar of The Crown Club at the Barclays Center for a truly special evening—New York City’s first-ever Liber Pater event. Organised in collaboration with The Brooklyn Wine Society and The Golden Vines, this exclusive experience offered a rare chance to explore one of the world’s most elusive wines, guided by its creator, Loic Pasquet.
The evening began with a welcome glass of Champagne Henriot Magnum Cuve 38, setting the stage for an unforgettable tasting. Loic Pasquet shared his deep knowledge and passion, taking guests through the history and craftsmanship behind each bottle. He spoke of Bordeaux’s heritage and the ancient winemaking techniques that define Liber Pater, bringing the story of these remarkable wines to life.
Guests experienced the complexity of Tetradrachme and Denarius 2021 before moving on to the rare and highly coveted Liber Pater 2007 and 2018. Each wine showcased the unique depth and character that make them so sought after.
Set against the warm glow of the Crown Club’s cellar, this intimate gathering was a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and fine wine. For those in attendance, it was a night to remember—an extraordinary encounter with one of the rarest wines in the world.
