Barbara was born and raised in the heart of the Left Bank, in the esteemed appellation of Saint-Julien, where her family has long been rooted in the world of fine wine. Her formative years were spent at Château Branaire-Ducru, a Fourth Growth Grand Cru Classé estate, where she was immersed in vineyard life and the rhythms of Bordeaux winemaking from an early age.

When her father took over the family's négociant business, established in 1861, Barbara joined the company and eventually rose to the position of Vice President, a role she held for 14 years. This experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the global wine trade and ignited a passion for connecting exceptional producers with discerning markets worldwide.

Currently serving as the South Florida Brand Manager for Château d'Esclans, home to the iconic Whispering Angel and the prestigious Garrus cuvée, Barbara continues to share her heritage, knowledge, and enthusiasm for fine wine, while championing the next generation of great estates and vintages.
