The Estate
Founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée, Florence Arnoux-Lachaux is now at the helm of the estate of 14ha, with her son Charles Lachaux at her side. Both share a deep attachment to the family heritage entrusted by previous generations, in order to envisage the future with great enthusiasm and freedom.
Since his arrival on the estate in 2011, Charles has instilled a new dynamic, by setting up regenerative farming, eco-pastoralism, biodynamic, gobelet pruning, high trellising, and by completely stopping trimming of the vines.
Vinifications in whole clusters since 2012, short vating and operating mode with very little intervention. Then the wines undergo an elevage in ceramic vessels which are replacing all oak barrels from vintage 2022. With each new choice, we are attached to reflect to the maximum the expression of the terroirs, to produce Pinot Noir that causes emotions and pleasure.
