Golden Vines and Real Madrid at the Bernabéu
December 2025
Real Madrid’s newly transformed Santiago Bernabéu stadium hosted a Golden Vines fine wine experience of unprecedented calibre, signalling the start of a long‑term partnership between the Club and Liquid Icons’ Golden Vines Connoisseur Programme. This ultra‑exclusive December dinner in the Palco de Honor, the club’s presidential suite, set a new benchmark for what luxury hospitality inside an elite football stadium can be.
Two‑Michelin‑star chef Ramón Freixa created a one‑night‑only haute cuisine menu for just 35 VVIP guests, including senior Real Madrid figures and leading international collectors, served at a dramatically elongated candlelit table overlooking the hallowed Bernabéu pitch. The dishes were paired with a line‑up of truly rare bottles: Dom Pérignon P2 2004, Bonneau du Martray Corton‑Charlemagne 2018, Domaine Fourrier Clos St Jacques 2019 and Griotte‑Chambertin Grand Cru 2019, Château Angélus 2016, Liber Pater 2007 and Château d’Yquem 1998, with estate principals present to introduce their wines in person.
The evening marked the unveiling of the Bernabéu 1947 Club, a new private members’ space opening for the 2026–2027 season, for which The Golden Vines has been appointed to curate the entire fine wine, rare spirits and events programme. Conceived as much more than a match‑day perk, Bernabéu 1947 will operate as a year‑round cultural, gastronomic and entertainment destination, hosting tastings, verticals, rare‑spirit nights and collaborations with leading chefs, all with the stadium as a constant backdrop.
