BODEGAS PALACIO ESPECIAL RESERVA - 2000

Bodegas Palacio Especial Reserva embodies a classic Rioja as tribute to the unique identity of Bodegas Cosme Palacio.This wine is known for notes of ripened fruit and is very powerful on the nose, with woody notes. COSME PALACIO 1894 – 2007
The skill and understanding of a great vineyard shows its true colours in difficult years, when nature challenges us and where the oenologist’s expertise is vital. Notes of ripened red and black fruit intertwine perfectly with the French oak, creating a complex, robust and long finish in the mouth. Cosme Palacio 1894 is emblematic of traditional, cold harvests, which allow for the wines to grow and develop their personality over the years. Unexpected and surprising, a wine for the inquisitive enthusiasts.
COSME PALACIO RESERVA – 2010
In what was one of Rioja´s most extraordinary harvests, Cosme Palacio Reserva stands out for its wonderful complexity, which embodies the essence of Laguardia’s vineyards, and demonstrates a unique viticultural philosophy. A true reflection of the 2010 vintage, this is a complex and fruity wine, with a very succulent concentration in the mouth and full of wonderful flavours. Its youth which keeps it fresh, foreshadows longevity for this wine. It exemplifies the meaning of enjoying wine.

Experience must be taken up within 12 months of the auction.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the Donor of this Auction Lot indicated they will offer an additional Auction Lot to the underbidder. The auctioneers have determined that any underbidder within 10% of the Winning Bidder’s bid shall automatically purchase the additional Auction Lot. (Should you not wish to be included, ensure that your bid is more than 10% below the current Winning Bid price.) For underbidders who more than 10% below the Winning Bidder’s bid, the Auctioneer shall ask the Donor if they are willing to provide an additional lot at this price, and, if so, shall then ask the underbidder if they are willing to purchase the additional Auction Lot.
