The Fine Wine / Rare Spirit

One Jeroboam (5L) of 2018 Vérité La Muse (rated a perfect 100-Points by Robert Parker Wine Advocate). Crafted primarily from Merlot, Vérité La Muse delivers incredible depth and texture through impeccable farming of top micro-cru vineyards throughout Sonoma County. La Muse was first produced in 1998 and is inspired by the finest wines of Pomerol.

The Experience

In addition to your 5.0L large format of Perfection, the winning bidder will also receive a private exclusive Library Wine and Food Pairing experience for four (4) guests, in person at the Vérité Estate in Sonoma County, California.

The Estate / Distillery

The wines of Vérité, French for “truth,” are the result of a combination of old-world experience and new world, Sonoma County fruit. Each wine is a distinct blend of unique components harvested from small vineyard blocks, culminating in a meticulously formed union of grape varieties, climate, soil expression, and winemaking technique. Founding Vigneron Pierre Seillan refers to this methodology as droit du sol, “right of the soil.” Vérité is dedicated to crafting wines without compromise —wines that reflect the terroir in which they are grown.

Terms & Conditions

Experience to be taken up by June 30, 2026.

Airfare and ground transportation are not included. Estate Library Wine and Food Pairing experience based on availability and mutually agreeable dates, and are subject to availability dependent upon regulations and Vérité Estate’s ability to accommodate at the time of the request. Lot is non-transferable and expires June 30, 2026.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the Donor of this Auction Lot indicated they will offer an additional Auction Lot to the underbidder. The auctioneers have determined that any underbidder within 10% of the Winning Bidder’s bid shall automatically purchase the additional Auction Lot. (Should you not wish to be included, ensure that your bid is more than 10% below the current Winning Bid price.) For underbidders who more than 10% below the Winning Bidder’s bid, the Auctioneer shall ask the Donor if they are willing to provide an additional lot at this price, and, if so, shall then ask the underbidder if they are willing to purchase the additional Auction Lot.
